Issues that Require Immediate Action
What are WMA Council Resolutions?
When the WMA Council is faced with a matter of substantial importance that requires immediate action that cannot be taken by the General Assembly within the appropriate time, it may issue a Council Resolution. The resolution may: (a) reaffirm a previous WMA Declaration/Statement/Resolution, or (b) express a position or reaction, which shall be based on the intent of a previous Declaration/Statement/Resolution or on previous WMA actions that are related in subject matter.
